Email volunteer@vmelempto.org if interested in volunteering or click HERE to let us know your interest and availability for future volunteer opportunities!
All volunteers are welcome; whether it is for a hour or the day! We'd love to have you help when it fits your schedule.
Volunteering during school hours (and even chaperoning a field trip) does require Volunteer Clearances to be on file with Parkland SD.
Have you had the chance to experience the Scholastic book fair at Veterans? What about Holiday Shop? Spring Carnival? Talent Show? Or have you purchased a Veterans Memorial yearbook?
Did you know that the Veterans Memorial PTO sponsors activities like those throughout the year that would not be possible without volunteers. Currently, previous and current PTO board members chair these events but most of these parents have kiddos either graduating this year or the following year. In order to keep these events going beyond the 2026-2027 school year, we need to teach others what it takes to make these activities happen for our Eagles. We are looking to pass on this knowledge to volunteers like you! You do not need to be a PTO Board member to chair or help out with a PTO sponsored event/activity. We would love for all future Eagles to experience all of these amazing activities so reach out today!
Ready to learn more? Reach out to a current PTO Board member or email us at ptoboard@vmelempto.org.
Below you will find a few of our annual events that would not be possible without a chair or co-chairs to run the event. If you are interested in learning more about one of the events, please reach out to the listed current chair for more information.
