Jenn Bush
Role description: “Leads the PTO with enthusiasm, ensuring everything runs smoothly. This role is all about keeping meetings productive, setting the agenda, and supporting a strong, engaged school community.”
Hello! Jenn Bush here, your PTO President. It is bittersweet that this is my last year as part of the amazing Veterans Memorial PTO but I am excited to make it a great one. My husband Brad and I have one son, Brennan. It is hard to believe that he will be in 5th grade at Veterans this year. We share our home with 4 adorable cats: Leo, Mona, King, and Cajun.
Professionally, I am an Agile Delivery Lead for Cadmus Group where I oversee an amazing team supporting collaboration tools and technology. In my spare time I love baking, golfing, and spending time with family.
This will be my 5th year on the board (previously VP of Fundraising and Treasurer) and I also co-chair the Yearbook Committee and Talent Show. I'm looking forward to working with the rest of the PTO, VM Staff/Teachers, and families to create fun and memorable events throughout the year for our Eagles.
Megan McHugh Bagg
Role Description: “Keeps the PTO organized and connected by recording meeting minutes and keeping the school, website, and social media updated. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys communication and ensuring everyone stays informed.”
I am Megan McHugh Bagg and I am the VP of Communications. Jim and I are parents to James (Springhouse) and Erin (5th). Beyond parenting, I work for a software company and I have kissed the Blarney Stone, so I have the gift of gab! I am outgoing and welcoming, so please ask me any questions about how you can get involved with our school. For fun, I love to play tennis, ski and workout in my home gym. I am also an avid reader!
I am looking forward to continuing to build our communications platforms and hope to get more families involved and aware of all the amazing things the PTO does for our students and teachers.
Adrea Kirsch

Professionally, I work as a Supplemental Health Underwriter for Guardian Life Insurance. In my free time I love reading, scrapbooking, Peloton workouts and spending time making memories with my family.
I am looking forward to being on the PTO this year and meeting new people as well as making new memories with the Veterans community!
Emily Mimms
Role Description: “Plays a key role in securing the resources that make PTO programs possible by overseeing fundraising efforts and exploring new, exciting ways to support the school. A great fit for someone who enjoys making a big impact!”
Hello! I am Emily Mimms and I am the VP of Fundraising. My husband Remy and I have three daughters Evelyn, Celeste and Vivienne. Our oldest daughter Evelyn enjoyed five tremendous years of learning and growing at Veterans and is off to Springhouse Middle School; Celeste is eager to begin third grade; and our youngest daughter Vivienne is starting her Veterans journey in kindergarten and is keeping us all on the edge of our seats. This is my first year serving on the PTO, and I look forward to lending my professional expertise in fundraising to ensure our Veterans teachers and staff have the necessary resources to support the social, emotional and academic success of all VME children.
I look forward to connecting with VME parents and leaders in the community throughout the year.
Glenna Walker
Role Description: “Ensures PTO funds are handled responsibly, tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, & supporting events with cash needs. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys organization and making sure resources are used effectively.”
Hello VMES families! I am Glenna Walker and I am the PTO Treasurer. This is my second year on the PTO Board, and I have been volunteering at PTO events for the past 5 years. The Treasurer position aligns with my prior career experience as an accountant.
My husband Ryan and I have two sons. Hank is in 3rd grade here at VMES, and Ryan Jr. is in 6th grade at Springhouse Middle School. They have both loved every minute of attending the school! We also have a 3 year old basset hound named T-Bone.
Volunteering for PTO events has always been a rewarding experience for me and has allowed me to meet a lot of people in this school community! If you are new to the school, or just haven't had a chance to volunteer at an event, I highly recommend it!
Interested in being a board member in the future? The best way to get started is to attend the monthly PTO meetings.
There are a number of events and activities each year that also require a chairperson to keep planning on track. We are always looking for new people to step in and learn about these events so that they can continue in the future for our Eagles if the current chairperson is no longer available.
Some of these events/activities that require a chairperson:
Scholastic Book Fair (Fall and Spring)
Holiday Shop (Fall)
Walk-a-thon (Fall)
Talent Show (Spring)
Yearbook Committee (Spring)
Spring Carnival (Spring)
5th Grade Events (Yearlong)
Interested in potentially being a chairperson?
